Episode 9 starts right where we left off, right after the eliminations of Episode 7. As the newly freed idols shuffle backstage, they receive flowers and letters from... themselves. MNet provides us with a heartfelt farewell to the five eliminated contestants, which was done right away and without wasting a week of time.

After an eventful Episode 7, MNet shifts gears and serves us a undercooked recap episode. They've done this before, but usually it's a half-and-half deal, 1 hour of recap and 1 hour of new content. Episode 8 runs just under an hour and is completely ignorable.

We are LIVE! And people are going to DIE be eliminated! But also, a live broadcasted episode means less content to cover, as we'll probably be spending 20% of the showtime waiting for Taeyeon to reveal the results only to cut to commercial break. I'm ok with this.

After the barrel of regrets that was Episode 5, Episode 6 thankfully gave us something to eat.

Yeah this one wasn't a very interesting one. Predictable results, unpolished stage performances, no character development and no memes, this episode felt like one great-but-not-legendary performance and a whole lot of wasted time. I couldn't believe two hours had passed at the end of it all.

Last week we saw the highs and lows of Team Cherry Bullet, but if you think we're done with the reversals you're highly mistaken.

We left off last episode with Cherry Bullet's Jiwon and Bora in the driver's seat for the 7-on-7 battle. Jiwon picked a couple of aces and some complimentary pieces, while Bora flexed the 'J' portion of her Myers-Briggs, monopolizing on the few rappers available.

I'm still not sure if I'm covering the entirety of Street Woman Fighter 2, barring some huge format changes. I did all of the first season and considering what else is happening in the world of trash TV, might just go over the noteworthy bits in my spare time. But based on the lineup, there's a lot of promise for a top season, at least much better than the non-Woman entries.
