Former TEEN TOP member L.Joe filed a lawsuit against TOP Media to terminate his contract in February of the last year, and TOP Media filed a countersuit against L.Joe for contract breach in September of last year. Fortunately, instead of further contract mess, it seems that the two sides have come to an agreement.
On May 16, TOP Media revealed through an official statement that the two parties have come to a mutual agreement on the issue with the terms of Byung Hun following and fulfilling the mandatory clauses of the exclusive contract. The agreement was fulfilled by Byung Hun’s side on May 11. TOP Media withdrew the lawsuit from the Seoul Central District Court, and their exclusive contract relationship has officially come to a close.
That sounds … good? Seems like a rare contract mess that might’ve actually come to an end relatively peacefully.
