Michael Buble, whose career has been reduced to shamelessly signing Christmas songs for mainstream relevance, recently went on the ‘TODAY‘ show and said that Psy and “Daddy” were an embarrassment to music and the planet and human life as it exists today.
Unfortunately, Bublé was not into it, saying that, “This makes me really sad. I don’t want to live in this world anymore.” He added, “If this is what we have to look forward to at the Grammys next year, I’m out.” While Kathie was ecstatic to find an ally in Bublé, Hoda was shocked, saying, “I can’t believe that I’m alone at this table!”
Some people are legit mad over this, which I sorta get since Buble was a dick (and he is one regardless of this anyway). But as usual, Psy had the best reaction to this story, retweeting the ‘TODAY’ show account and moving on with his life.
And Psy’s right, as it’s not worth it to be outraged. However, it is worth it to point out that Michael Buble is a safe, boring, holiday-song singing clown that should never speak on anybody’s musical integrity because it makes him look like a sad sad man, much like most of his songs. It’s like SM Entertainment complaining about unfair treatment/wages for workers, or YG Entertainment educating us on what real hep-hap is or something. Not worth getting up in arms for*, but well worth mocking until the end of time.
*But really, Michael Buble sucks.
