I honestly do love the song anyway, but what made this truly amazing is the sheer amount of pearl-clutching this induced from basically everybody.
I maintain that if they kept this unit together and continued down a road similar to this, they would’ve eventually been successful, especially with the direction K-pop was going at the time and what it’s become now.
