Well, unfortunately there hasn’t been a lot of news that’s come out during the break that’s been positive, as one of the other big stories is that actor Yoo Ah In has been accused of sexual assault by a 30-year-old man.
“A” claimed that Yoo Ah In had sexually assaulted him on July 14 while he was sleeping at an apartment in Seoul’s Yongsan District. The apartment in question is neither A’s nor Yoo Ah In’s residence, and it is said that there were other men present at the time. The police questioned A about the case on July 25, and A is said to have tested negative for drugs.
Police is going to call him in for questioning soon, and Yoo Ah In’s lawyer has issued a general denial of the allegations.
“The claims in the criminal complaint involving Yoo Ah In are not true,” stated the attorney. “Additionally, we ask that you refrain from unnecessary speculation regarding his personal life.”
As you likely already know by now, Yoo Ah In is already dealing with drug charges and that case is still going on. While I certainly don’t care about the legality of recreational drug use, this is a lot more serious of an issue, and it deserves to be treated as such instead of just people acting like it’s an add-on thing, a sexuality sideshow, or that they’re all connected somehow.
