BTS member V has dropped a pre-release single for his solo debut album Layover, including a music video (I assume the first of many) for “Love Me Again“, and it mostly does what it seeks to accomplish even if it isn’t up my alley.
It’s a simple and unadorned production, which thankfully carries over to his vocals, and if you’re a fan of hearing V’s voice then rejoice as you get to really hear it on “Love Me Again”. It ironically almost has a bedroom pop vibe to it, though for me it’s a bit boring in the end and feels like it would’ve been better with the short song trend. That said, if you’re into relaxing and inoffensive background music to chill out to, his vocal tone certainly helps complete the soundscape.
