Last week it was announced by Jellyfish Entertainment that a new boy group of seven members from the Boys Planet reality show would be debuting under the label as BLIT.
Seven contestants from Mnet’s hit audition show “Boys Planet” will form a new boy band BLIT under Jellyfish Entertainment, according to the agency on Thursday.
Mun Jung-hyun, Park Ji-hoo, Park Han-bin, Yoo Seung-eon, Lee Jeong-hyeon, Ji Yun-seo and Keita will be part of the band. The seven members did not make it on the list of finalists on “Boys Planet” but gained global popularity through the show.
This was predictably greeted with jokes about boy clits, along with what else BLIT could rhyme with.
Well, apparently Jellyfish pays more attention than we thought, and after some “research” they decided to change their name to something out of a captcha answer in EVNNE (EVENing’s Newest Etoiles).
Jellyfish Entertainment changed the name of their upcoming boy group from ‘BLIT’ to ‘EVNNE’ (read: even)

The agency realised the word ‘blit’ has a negative meaning, so they changed it to avoid misunderstandings

I hope they realize we’re not gonna stop calling them Boy Clit.
