Following the conclusion of their world tour yesterday, everything seemed normal in OMEGA X‘s world as the group celebrated things on Twitter.
Unfortunately, soon afterward a fan emerged with allegations that they caught the group’s CEO physically and verbally assaulting the group, providing an audio clip. They gave their account in a tweet, saying, “Guys, I was waiting for the Uber outside and I saw the company CEO hitting the members. I really didnโt know what to do, my hands were shaking so much. They were being hit right in front of me but I couldnโt do anything.“
The one thing I found odd was that both this tweet and the media reports that have picked it up seem to identity the perpetrator as the CEO (Hwang Seong Woo) of their company (Spire Entertainment), but he is a man and the voice in the recording recording clearly sounds like a woman. Hence, I figure it’s actually the company staff or maybe a manager instead of the CEO. Regardless, if this is them being yelled at in the audio, it’s incredibly fucked up.

To add on to that claim, over three weeks ago another person came forward about OMEGA X being berated in public.
That sounds like an absolute nightmare, and the fact that there were other stories just floating around out there makes this all seem even worse. Not only because it adds to the likelihood that this is true, but also because it sounds like just a regular thing OMEGA X has to deal with.

When Spire was contacted for comment on the recent allegations, the company said that they are unable to connect with them since they’re in the United States.
“They are still in the United States, so we are unable to get into contact with them. We will make our position clear as soon as we can determine the situation.”
As if phones and the Internet don’t work all of a sudden or something. It’s much more likely that they are stalling because they need time to prepare some kind of response/excuse.
Either way, hopefully OMEGA X find a way to escape these conditions, though they might be less likely to risk it since this is a second-chance group … and perhaps the company is taking advantage of that.
