It’s still nuts to me that Shinhwa debuted in 1998, left SM Entertainment before it was cool, and remains together to this day. After a rather slow start to their career, they soon took off to major popularity and were topping the charts by their third album. In 2002 they released “Perfect Man“, which would become one of their signature songs and eventually cement itself as a general K-pop classic over the years.
It holds up.
People have been saying that these remasters are not actually all that great or whatever, and I honestly can’t tell, but I also don’t care. Really the point is just to cannonball into nostalgia and this is another prime opportunity.
