CL was recently revealed to be the first Korean female solo artist to star in an American TV commercial, which of course was for none other than Taco Bell.
The commercial reminds me I’m getting old since I barely know anybody else in it.
More importantly, it’s just amusing how serious the press releases about it from the companies are.
A source from CL’s agency shared, “As K-pop became more popular, there were many singers who starred in global commercials centering in Asia. However, CL is the first to star in an American TV commercial.”
Agree, somber and serious thoughts about achievement. All I could think about was the Dave Navarro meme, though.
