GOT7‘s Jackson was seen in a recent video confronting a sasaeng who he believed leaked his home address in Hong Kong. In the clip, he’s seen sternly asking the girl, “Was it you who posted my address?” The girl responds with an emphatic, “No!“
While this is unfortunately not all that rare with idols and sasaengs, it is notable to see an idol confront one on video, and as some fans (rather ungracefully) pointed out the timing couldn’t be worse with the Hong Kong protests ongoing and his One-China stance being controversial.
The level of invasion of privacy and how it’s essentially normalized is honestly crazy.
