A weird situation has been unfolding on social media involving 2NE1‘s Park Bom and actor Lee Min Ho, which has hopefully started to conclude after the actor’s company released a statement denying any personal relationship with the singer.

Backtracking to last year in September when this started, out of nowhere Park Bom started to refer to Lee Min Ho as her husband on social media. Obviously this lead to questions from the public, and an acquaintance of hers had to deny rumors that they were dating, stating she was just fangirling.
Things seemed to settle down after that and it was radio silence until recently, when about a week ago she started calling him husband on social media again. Due to her agency deleting her posts, presumably trying to do damage control, she made multiple other accounts to continue posting about Lee Min Ho.
D Nation Entertainment released a statement, reiterating that it was just fan behavior, “In the case of SNS, it is the artist’s personal space, so it is difficult to confirm. However, based on the previous incident, we understand that it happened because she is a fan of Lee Min Ho.” However, on one of her new accounts, Park Bom reiterated that she was telling the truth, “Hello everyone. I’ve been working hard. I wrote it because it is all real. 2NE1 will work hard. Thank you for being so supportive. I have a third account, so please show much interest.“
All of this came to a head recently, when Park Bom posted yet another update, saying that Lee Min Ho asked her to post what she did before, but that she is single.
“Actually, I’m single. I posted this because Lee Min Ho asked me to. Just wanted to clarify that I’m single,” prompting Lee Min Ho’s agency to issue a formal response to put an end to the rumors.
Lee Min Ho’s agency MYM Entertainment finally addressed it, denying any personal relationship, “He is not personally acquainted with Park Bom, so these [rumors] are baseless.”
While many, including me, hoped that would be the end of it, Park Bom then reiterated afterward that Lee Min Ho asked her to write what she did.
“Hello. Someone keeps erasing them. I’m single, and we’re not involved in any way. It was not a self-induced scandal. Lee Min Ho asked me to write it, so I did. I’ll work hard at my job. Thank you.”
I dunno, man. Just a bizarre situation, and one that has been a bit surreal to follow.
As mentioned, this has been going on for a while, but quite frankly I didn’t want to post about it cause it was sorta uncomfortable to watch unfold and I don’t know where her mental health is at or anything like that. Uh, hope everybody’s fine.
