On a recent broadcast, EXO member Lay briefly mentioned a possible reunion in the works with his group in 2025, which would be notable since he has not been involved since 2021’s Don’t Fight The Feeling.

If this happens, it’s likely to be a nine-member event, as Kai and Sehun will have completed their military service by then. Group leader Suho alluded to this at the 2024 Asia Artist Awards as well during an acceptance speech.
“After Sehun completes his duty, all members will have fulfilled their military service. Weโll come back together as EXO and meet our fans again,” the leader said, raising anticipation among the fans. He also stated that he is hopeful that the group will return with an exciting project in 2025, urging fans to look forward.
Suho had also previously told fans that they’d have a fanmeeting as a group after everybody’s military service was done. He did that on an Instagram Live stream, one where he interacted with Lay.

Hmmm.
When I first saw this pop-up, I figured it was just one of those throwaway comments that one makes since he’s still technically in the group, but wasn’t gonna expect much. However, given the previous context, it at least seems somewhat realistic? Like non-zero since they’re interacting publicly around the time all of this is coming out, right? Surely. Maybe. Possibly.
