Sometimes dreams do come true, as when GFRIEND announced their reunion, I was hoping that promotions included a Killing Voice appearance, as it would really be perfect for their discography.
Well, now we got a 15-song medley of their hits: “Glass Bead“, “Me Gustas Tu“, “NAVILLERA“, “Crossroads“, “Apple“, “MAGO“, “FLOWER“, “FINGERTIP“, “Three Of Cups“, “SUMMER RAIN“, “Rainbow“, “Rough“, “Here We Are“, “Time For The Moon Night“, and “Eclipse“.
You know, I literally wrote something like “amazing but all this started only back in 2015” thinking it was like 5-6 years ago, but no, it’s been almost a decade now. Good god. I guess that explains the extreme nostalgia kicking in, plus one can add on just my preference for these types of pop songs*.
*I do wish there were older B-sides, and also this could be over 30 minutes long.
Whether they get a banger for their comeback or not, I’m already counting this happening as a win, and I’m just glad they’re seemingly going to be actively promoting and doing stuff. Welcome back, GFRIEND.
