‘Crime Scene’ to return for a new season, this time on Netflix, let’s gooooooo!

In news that is basically porn for me, Crime Scene Returns was apparently successful enough that not only is a new season being made, but it’s being picked up by Netflix after TVING broadcasted it last season.

On September 26, Netflix announced that “Crime Scene” will officially return with a new season as a Netflix original variety show.

A Netflix representative remarked, “We’re thrilled to introduce the new chapter of ‘Crime Scene,’ which has opened new horizons for mystery variety shows, to fans in Korea and around the globe through Netflix.”

Being on Netflix has the added benefit of a lot more international access to the show and also not having to wait for subtitles in order to post about it.

Produce Yoon Hyun Joon sounds excited about the change.

Yoon Hyun Joon, who has directed all previous seasons, added, “We wanted to share the excitement of ‘Crime Scene,’ which has been so well-loved, not only with domestic fans but also with audiences worldwide. We ask for your support and interest in ‘Crime Scene’ new journey.”

I wonder if the raised profile of the show will mean cast members like Yujin might stick around. Hmm.
