The Waterbomb Festival is coming to Los Angeles on September 28 and 29, but things got off to anything but an ideal start, as the moment the prices and seating charts came out, the organizers got eviscerated on social media.
So basically, backlash and low sales eventually bullied organizers into lowering prices (like, a little bit to $125-$280), hilariously claiming that they were doing it for the love of the game and not profit.
“However, we recognise that this has become a burden for our fans. Therefore, we have decided to adjust the prices, prioritizing the event over profit, in order to reduce the burden on our customers,” the organisers said.
Things apparently still weren’t going well, so they just scrapped everything and made it floor only.
Now all that’s needed is for them to slash the price in half and take an overall loss on the event just because they couldn’t keep it in their pants and do it correctly for like next summer or something instead of damn near October.
