SEVENTEEN’s Seungkwan unpins Moonbin tribute after being accused of shading BTS’s Suga by … uh, putting up an alcohol ad disclaimer

In deranged fandom news, SEVENTEEN member Seungkwan has been getting attacked by BTS/Suga stans accusing him of taking advantage of Suga’s DUI controversy by … uh, doing his advertisement with disclaimers/warnings.

Seungkwan recently made a post on Instagram for CASS as a part of SEVENTEEN BSS‘s deal with the brand, “Is everyone enjoying the Olympics together? Let’s cheer on the South Korean athletes until the very end! 💪 Let’s create a support video for our South Korean athletes! 💙 Check out the profile link at @official.cass! #Ad #Cass #Olympics #CheerUp

Normal people didn’t think twice about this, and he did the standard “hey kids, don’t get wasted and start killing people” disclaimer in the comments.

“Warning: Excessive drinking can lead to stroke, memory impairment, or dementia. Alcohol consumption during pregnancy increases the risk of birth defects. Whatever it is, do it in moderation.”

Some BTS stans apparently believed this was shade to Suga’s situation, and that the ‘Cass Zero Sugar’ product is another shot at Suga, rather than him, his company, and Cass trying to avoid being destroyed by lawsuits in case anybody wasted off Cass does anything stupid.

The worst part is he’s definitely seen the backlash because they started going after his pinned Moonbin tribute as well, which made him unpin it to avoid association.

Another day, another normal one in K-pop.
