MLD Entertainment reportedly can’t pay employees, leading to concern for remaining groups as well

In news that seems bad for the groups still with the company, MLD Entertainment is reportedly suffering from financial problems, the extent of which has led to the company not paying salaries. Predictably, because they aren’t being paid, many employees resigned and the company are now down to a handful of workers. The employees also didn’t receive their severance pay, and when they filed a complaint over it, they were only partially compensated.

The employees are who I feel the worst for, obviously, and hopefully they get their severance and salaries that they are owed at some point. But of course this also seems bad for the artists under the company, who are currently Lapillus, HORI7ON, New:ID, CocaNButter, JT&MARCUS, Cheetah, and NARIN (which I assume explains why their channel is like an ad hub now).

Three years ago they acquired three companies as subsidiaries, BM Entertainment, R&D Company, and Double H Entertainment, though it’s uncertain whether they are similarly at risk as a result of this.
