KARA release emotional ballad “Hello”, which features Hara’s vocals

In case you haven’t heard yet, KARA are blessing us with a comeback titled “I Do I Do” next week Wednesday on July 24. Before that, though, they pre-released the B-side ballad track “Hello” off that single.

The reason I’m posting about it is because the song includes six members, with Hara’s vocals as well. “Hello” was supposed to be included in their Full Bloom album back in 2013, and Hara released a Japanese version of it back in 2019, but RBW have revealed the Korean recording with this release. I’m glad that’s the case, as when I first heard this news without that context, I had a ton of fear that they were doing some AI bullshit, but thankfully it’s just an older recording that was the members’ idea and that Hara’s family signed off on (or I haven’t found anything questionable at least).

“Hello” is a ballad number that sings about the happiness people experience when meeting new someone new and the sadness of bidding farewell.

Appropriate.
