Takahashi Juri has left both Rocket Punch and Woollim Entertainment after having terminated her contract with the company, according to an official statement.
“Rocket Punch member Juri, who has been with us for the past time, is a foreign member and has a different contract period [from the other] members.
As of today (May 24th), she has terminated her management contract with us.
However, we will continue to support each other’s future wherever we are.”
They also say Rocket Punch will continue on as a five-member group. It’ll be interesting to see what’s in their future, as the others should have two years left on their contracts.
Last year, three members went on Queendom Puzzle (with Yeonhee making EL7Z UP), and then they made their last comeback in September of 2023, but their sales haven’t really budged since 2020. With even groups like Fromis 9 facing an uncertain future, it’s hard not to be at least a bit concerned.
