OnlyOneOf member Rie recently spoke out about fans kissing him without permission, specifically about event that happened around a month ago, as apart of their ongoing world tour.
Rie: lyOns in South America are passionate about getting touchy-feely, haha. After taking a picture, they asked if they could give me a hug. A hug isn’t a big deal, so I said yes.
Rie: But at least three lyOns have snuck in a kiss on the cheek before running away. LOL.
Rie: LOL
Rie: Oh, no. I wasn’t the one who kissed them. They kissed me and then ran away. Haha.
Rie: It’d be trouble if I kissed them.
Rie: LOL. Next time, I’ll say, “I’m sorry!” But, honestly, had they asked for a kiss in the first place, I would’ve said no… Wouldn’t I? Haha.
Rie: Anyway, I laughed it off. I’m cool like that, haha.
If he says he can deal with it then I’m glad about that, but man it’s unsettling how normalized that probably seemed for a lot of fans and how nobody apparently would’ve said anything about it if he didn’t speak up.
