Today in terrifying fandom news, a stalker of BTS member V was arrested by police after she followed the star into his residence’s elevator and gave him a marriage certificate. The individual is a woman in her 30s (despite the report below saying 20s, but it doesn’t really matter) and apparently waited outside his residence’s parking lot.
On October 26 at approximately 6:30 p.m. KST, a woman in her twenties (hereafter referred to as “A”) followed V into the elevator of his apartment building and attempted to speak to him. According to a report by KBS, she also handed him a marriage certificate.
“A” is said to have waited for V outside the building where he lives, then followed him inside when he drove his car into the building’s parking lot.
The following morning, “A” was reported to have been arrested by the police, who found her using the information written on the marriage certificate she gave V. “A” is also said to have a history of having stalked V in the past.
Later that morning, BIGHIT MUSIC officially remarked, “We are responding with a no-tolerance policy to stalking crimes that disturb our artist’s personal life and threaten their safety.”
Yeah, if there’s one thing I’ve learned over the years it’s that authorities have little to no effectiveness against stalkers, which makes it all the more terrifying.
