From the time news broke that BLACKPINK‘s Lisa would be performing shows at the Crazy Horse cabaret in Paris, almost everybody seems to have written their think pieces in the comments on various sites about it. These extremely passionate and nuanced individuals have been saying it means everything from her ruining the image of K-pop, and women at large, to her being some kind of revolutionary fighting for the freedom of K-pop idols, and women at large, so I thought my two cents were vital to this conversion now that her debut performance has actually happened and the discourse has reached an all-time high.
What follows is my analysis on the situation:
