Yoshiki, HYDE, SUGIZO, and MIYAVI are the quartet of rock stars who will be uniting to form a supergroup called THE LAST ROCKSTARS. This is actually insane.
The four are known for their solo efforts, but also three were famously members of X Japan (Yoshiki), L’Arc-en-Ciel/VAMPS (HYDE), and Luna Sea/X Japan (SUGIZO).
The announcement goes on to say they already have concerts planned for next year.
THE LAST ROCKSTARS will unleash their debut live performances on January 26 and January 27 at Ariake Arena and January 29 and January 30 at Tokyo Garden Theatre. U.S. shows on February 4 at Hammerstein Ballroom in New York and February 10 at Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles go on sale today at 7 a.m. PST/10 a.m. EST.
They also have two teasers out for the songs “THE LAST ROCKSTARS” and “PSYCHO LOVE“.
