LIGHTSUM were formerly an eight-member group under Cube Entertainment, and I say formerly because they’re now down to six members following the announced departure of Huiyeon and Jian from the group. In a sudden and rather terse message posted on Twitter, the company revealed they would be “reorganizing” LIGHTSUM.
Not sure there’s any other way to read this than the two members are getting the boot, especially given that they didn’t even try to go through the effort of providing a reason.
To be honest, not sure what the point of this is, as I doubt those two were holding LIGHTSUM back and the bigger issue is likely with the company choices.
