A couple days ago, MLD Entertainment announced that their boy group T1419 (‘Teenager Fourteen Nineteen’, by the way) would change their name to TFN (‘Try For New’, apparently).
Why do this? Well, the company says international fans of the group requested a name change because it was not memorable, which is absolutely insane because the numbers are the only reason I recognized the group and now it’s the most generic-looking acronym possible. This legitimately makes them exponentially harder to Google.
Either way, let’s be honest, I don’t think the name is ever the reason for the lack of attention.
