SM Entertainment‘s SM Remastering Project is gonna expose a lot of … questionable choices in K-pop history, but BoA‘s 2000 debut single “ID Peace B” is not one of them. While I greatly prefer the Japanese version (especially the music video), this is a song that hasn’t lost any of its luster even two decades on. Shit still bangs.
Seriously though, I would rather get a Japanese version remaster since it’s a classic music video as well. It’s like eons better just a year later.
Unfortunately, it gets points off for being a major factor in me really getting into K-pop and thus ruining my life and thus part of yours if you’re here reading this site. So there’s that.
