The premise of the “Flex” music video appears to be that an orchestra playing classical tunes with a ballet dancer are boring and stuffy, so here come the rebel TI-83 T1419 boys to fuck shit up and serve us fun entertainment. Well, they achieved the first part of that at least.
“Flex” isn’t terrible or anything, just rather generic, and the orchestral sections of the song are far and away the most interesting parts of the comeback, and just listening to the intro and the bridge prove as much.
Legit thought they might’ve dropped in on some Xzibit “Paparazzi” type of shit, but no, just going through the motions a bit.
