Former Yuri Holdings CEO Yoo In Suk recently had his arrest warrant for multiple charges denied, and it was recently reported that his wife, actress Park Han Byul, played a role in that by submitting a petition to the court.
According to a JoongAng Ilbo report on May 15, Park Han Byul’s petition was first submitted at the questioning that was held to determine the validity of Seungri’s and Yoo In Suk’s pretrial detention warrants on May 14. Park Han Byul reportedly submitted her three-page handwritten petition to the court through her attorney. It was revealed that she stated in the petition, “My husband has no thoughts whatsoever to get away from or avoid this situation. As [his] wife, I promise that he will continue to faithfully participate in the investigations without being detained.” After the questioning, the court dismissed the pretrial detention warrant requests for Seungri and Yoo In Suk. Regarding the reports, Park Han Byul’s agency Fly Up Entertainment stated, “We do not know the exact details as they are related to the actor’s personal matters.”
Nothing necessarily major about the case here, but it seemed noteworthy because it does appear to do away with the notion that she like despises him after all this stuff has emerged and is just biding her time until it’s over to divorce him if she’s actually actively trying to help him.
