Actor Son Seung Won is currently under investigation by authorities for an incident in which he was caught drunk driving and driving without a license after he caused an accident.
According to the Gangnam Police Station, “Investigation is currently under way for the car accident instigated by Son Seung Won, who was driving under the influence without a license. However, we cannot reveal specifics as the investigation is ongoing.” They stated that at 4:20 a.m. KST on December 26, Son Seung Won was involved in a car accident in Cheongdam-dong, Seoul. At the time of the accident, the actor had a blood alcohol content of 0.206 percent, which would get his license canceled. However, it has been revealed that Son Seung Won’s driver’s license was already canceled at the time of the accident, being canceled on November 18 as he had been caught drunk driving in September. Son Seung Won is said to have instigated the accident, crashing his car into a different car.

Blossom Entertainment, which was revealed to be his now former agency, was contacted for a statement, but they sure as fuck weren’t claiming him.
When asked for comment, Blossom Entertainment stated that their contract with Son Seung Won ended in early October, and they had decided to not renew the contract. They added, “Son Seung Won is scheduled for performances till January 2019, and he has been going to his performances without support from an agency. We were not aware of the drunk driving incident until reports began to emerge, and we have not been able to get in contact with him since.”
