In a recent interview with Dazed (the entirety of which is worth reading), Sunmi made the obvious (but necessary) point that male celebrities have it much easier than female celebrities in a variety of ways.
The only surprising thing about this is that it’s noteworthy it happened to begin with. It’s a rather easy observation to make, but I’ve rarely seen it (if ever) put so bluntly in an interview by somebody with such a high profile.
