BAND-MAID recently returned with the music video for “DOMINATION“, which is a track off their album ‘WORLD DOMINATION‘, and another serving that I thoroughly enjoyed.
Much like with BABYMETAL, I find their gimmick basically irrelevant, and I mean that in a positive way. Tracks like “DOMINATION” are fun and upbeat, and while it definitely has a harder edge, it’s still melodic and addictive enough to have wide-ranging appeal. Of particular note is that alluring rapid-fire refrain that culminates with the repetition of “hello“.
Just hoping they continue the good work going forward.
