Red Velvet’s “Bad Boy” not quite my tempo, but the group reaches their visual peak

After a ton of build thanks to alluring teasers and a cool concept, Red Velvet finally made their return with “Bad Boy“.

Actually thought the foundation of the song was interesting, but the lack of pace paired with failing to build much on the foundation led to me ultimately not being hooked. Definitely understand how it could appeal to others, but I would be lying if I thought this was the kind of thing I’d enjoy listening to regularly. Hopefully TheBiasList will have a proper review coming tomorrow, and it’ll probably differ from my take.

Anyway, that’s not all that important when one considers that the group are at their visual peak.

It’s pointless to pick individual moments when it’s the whole music video, really.
