ELRIS have just dropped their debut music video for “We First“, and it’s certainly a thing that exists now.
From the member introductions to the bubbly instrumental to the sugary-sweet delivery, everything about this was paint-by-numbers cute concept girl group debut. It’s not bad in the sense that the song was bad or the music video was bad or the members are bad, but it mainly just doesn’t do anything for them either. It’s … there.
“We First” is ELRIS’s debut, so we’ll see where they go from here, but Kim Sohee‘s solo debut showed far more promise than her group did.
