In order to stunt a bit on the ‘Running Man‘ decision makers who fired them, Kim Jong Kook and Song Ji Hyo both announced that they would be donating their salary from ‘Running Man’ appearances to charity.
On December 19, according to a broadcast source, Kim Jong Kook and Song Ji Hyo will be donating the rest of the payments they receive for their remaining appearances on SBS’s “Running Man,” till the show concludes in February of 2017. In regards to this, a representative from Song Ji Hyo’s side stated, “Kim Jong Kook and Song Ji Hyo haven’t decided on a concrete method or which charity to donate to. Their decision to donate most likely arose from their feelings of gratefulness toward all viewers for their support, and also from feeling apologetic for the recent news.”
So basically the two of them are saying that if those assholes are gonna give them charity money for public relations purposes, they’re gonna make it literally charity money. Cool move on their part, and it continues to make the producers look like straight asshole.
