A day after somebody asked for an update on SNH48‘s Tang Anqi and I had to unfortunately report that there was no update, she posted a video update for everybody and talked about her condition.

Translation: “I’m deeply grateful for all the people who have helped and supported me all this time. Because I had everyone and all your encouragement and support, I’m recovering very well. Every day, I’m working hard on exercising and receiving treatment. I wish that I can see everyone again soon. I miss all of you so much, and Team NII, and every single one of my fans who, for the sake of my health, put out their effort. I really miss everyone so much, and I want to see you guys soon. I thank every person who helped me. If it weren’t for you all, I probably would not have recovered this well.”
An idol to the end, huh?
Either way, it was as I suspected in terms of the lack of updates being a sign that she was making progress. Understandably, she didn’t want to show her physical state on video, and she hardly sounds fine when she speaks, but considering how things could’ve gone, this is certainly a move in the right direction since we last left off.
