The second season of ‘God Of Music‘ has started, and it’s the mockumentary of the K-pop music industry everybody didn’t know they needed. It basically has a bunch of celebrities playing themselves, led by former Roo’ra member Lee Sang Min, who is on a quest to fulfill his role as the greatest music producer ever or whatever.
It also has a bunch of idols in roles ranging from recurring to guest, including Nine Muses‘ Kyungri, B1A4‘s Jinyoung, EXO‘s Chanyeol, and Sohee and Chaekyung of ‘Produce 101‘.
HIGHGRND and Epik High took part in one of the best exchanges of the episode, in which they try to come up with a new cool name for Taeyang‘s brother, actor Dong Hyun Bae.
Sunspot it is.
Then there was the best part of the episode, when they talk with the idols that will debut under their company, called LTE.
It’s hard to tell whether the contract scenes with Sohee and Chaekyung are funny cause they’re true or tragic cause they’re true.
Why not both, right? That’s satire at its best.
The ‘Produce 101’ rigging angle also actually makes complete sense.
And so do the plastic surgery conversations.
And I certainly can’t argue with the group name.
This is honestly the best.

Oh yeah, I’m using this line.
