Megan Lee, she of that god-awful Nickelodeon show ‘Make It Pop‘, recently released the music video for “Stronger” and it’s actually quite surprising.
It’s not surprising that she can sing, but what did surprise me was how mature and current this release sounded.
Honestly, if she wasn’t Asian and basically unknown in America, this could probably pass for a hit single. “Stronger” has the message, the vocal performance, and a modern instrumental/execution of the track.
Went into this expecting to skip it after a minute or so, but left impressed.
