Rainbow‘s “Whoo” teaser has been released and the girls look great, everything seems fun, and the instrumental seems to be quite different…
…yet I can’t shake this feeling that it’ll flop with Korean audiences.
“Whoo” appears to be throwback influenced again — which I’m fine with but Korea hasn’t felt the same for a while now — and the hook’s sound in the preview makes it seem a bit basic.
Admittedly, it’s not a ton to go on yet, but I’m worried because “Black & White“, “Click”, and “Eye Contact” all sound like they might be stronger efforts.
